Blacks, Hispanics receive more aggressive end-of-life care

Researchers who evaluated data on 160,000 Medicare recipients suggested that blacks and Hispanics tend to receive more intensive end-of-life procedures and treatments than whites. Their study found blacks and Hispanics have higher end-of-life treatment costs than whites.
