CEA, CEDIA join forces on new home-theater standard

The Consumer Electronics Association and CEDIA have put their heads together and come up with a "recommended practice" notification for those designing home-theater audio equipment. The newly minted CEA/CEDIA-CEB22: Home Theater Recommended Practice: Audio Design Bulletin will provide "value and guidance to the ESC industry," said Brian Markwalter, CEA's vice president of technology and standards.
