Size matters, for some online publishers

The New York Times, ESPN, The Wall Street Journal and several more of the Web's most heavily visited sites that belong to the Online Publishers Association announced they will offer new ad-unit sizes, including a 336-by-860 pixel banner ad that scrolls down the page, an expanding box that's 468-by-648 pixels and a "pushdown" unit that fills about half the screen initially and then rolls up. These ad units are not part of the IAB's industry standard specifications.
