Gasoline prices are unlikely to become volatile this year

The Energy Department released a forecast for gasoline prices, predicting pump prices will not go much higher than $3 a gallon through the peak days of summer. Oil is expected to average $80 a barrel in the spring and rise to about $82 a barrel by the year's end as reduced travel and high unemployment continue.
