Leaking pipes leave Ghanaians lining up for LPG

A shortage of liquefied petroleum gas left drivers in Ghana scouring the capital, Accra, in search of fuel, with some drivers waiting for hours to top off their tanks. Officials blamed the shortage on leaking pipes at a major oil refinery that prevented about 5,512 tons of imported LPG from being discharged and distributed.
