Moonves to seek double-digit price increases in upfront

CBS chief executive Leslie Moonves expects ad rates to show double-digit gains for the upfront, based on 25% improvements in scatter pricing, he told a conference. If CBS doesn't see those gains, it will withhold inventory to sell in the scatter market, he said. He also said he would not consider merging Showtime and Starz.
