Napolitano: No imminent change in airport shoe removal

Don't expect to keep your shoes on at the airport any time soon. That was the message from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano on Tuesday during a teleconference on aviation security. She said current technology does not allow for adequate screening of passengers in shoes, though that could change eventually. Napolitano also defended the use of full-body scanners and random hand swabs at airports.
