OPEC: Surging ethanol use in U.S. to affect petroleum sales

Rising ethanol consumption in the U.S. is expected to help limit demand for petroleum in the coming months, said the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. In its latest monthly oil market report, OPEC said ethanol consumption in the U.S. is eight times as much as it was in 2000.
