Petrochem plants dial up NGL-feedstock capacity

America's petrochemical companies are increasing their capacity to use natural gas liquids as feedstocks and are calling for gas producers to increase output. "There have been a number of investments around de-bottlenecking, allowing us to increase our capacity to use NGLs by 30% over the past couple of years," said Doug May, Dow Chemical's vice president of energy and climate change.
