FINRA seeks SEC approval of broker-compensation rule

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority has submitted to the Securities and Exchange Commission a long-discussed rule on brokers' compensation in recruitment. If approved by the SEC, the rule will require brokers who receive more than $100,000 in incentive compensation to change firms to disclose that fact to clients in writing.
