High-pressure interview tactics may drive women away

Some employers ask job candidates to demonstrate their skills in extremely high-pressure situations that are unlikely to arise in the real world. The problem is that these tactics might put female candidates at a disadvantage and don't necessarily predict future success on the job, Uri Gneezy and Katie Baca-Motes write. "We encourage companies to structure their recruiting and interviewing processes to select the best candidates rather than the most competitive ones," they write.
