Bridge Project Bid Reviewed

Maryland officials are looking into a lone bid on a bridge construction project that was 72% above the State Highway Administration estimate. The bid -- submitted by Kiewit Construction, Tidewater Construction and Clark Construction Group -- was for building a new Woodrow Wilson Bridge across the Potomac River. The state Transportation Department is looking at three options for rebidding the project.
