Overweight moms don't predispose children to obesity, study says

A new study found women who are overweight during pregnancy do not necessarily predispose their children to obesity, but the study did link an increased risk of being overweight to inheriting certain variants of the FTO gene from the mother. The researchers say more research is needed to determine the link between overweight mothers and overweight children.
