Bombardier lands first deal for narrow-body passenger jet

Bombardier's narrow-body challenger to the Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 has won its first firm contract. The company said Wednesday it has inked a $1.53 billion deal with Deutsche Lufthansa, which will buy 30 of the CSeries jets for its Swiss International Air Lines division. Analysts says the order could give momentum to Bombardier's development efforts.
