Vitamin B supplements helpful for celiac patients

Dutch researchers found vitamin B supplements raise levels of vitamin B6, B12 and folate and help reduce homocysteine levels in people with celiac disease. Celiac disease is a malabsorption syndrome so patients have vitamin deficiencies and higher rates of hyperhomocysteinemia.
