Columbus Center project dissolves as Calpers pulls out

The developer behind Boston's planned Columbus Center, the California State Pension Fund, has pulled out of the project. Thirteen years in the works, the fund known as Calpers has decided the five-building, $800 million complex is not feasible. The developers were determined last month to be in default of their lease.
