Coronary angiograms show small evidence of coronary artery disease

U.S. researchers who analyzed about 400,000 coronary angiograms found that only 38% of the patients who underwent the heart test had significant obstructions in the heart's arteries. The findings suggest the need to improve the diagnosis of coronary artery disease, the study's lead researcher said.
