Daily Economic Indicator: Professor says recovery on track

Jeremy Siegel, a professor of finance at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, said the Federal Reserve might be prompted to increase interest rates before the end of the year to cool growth as the worst of the economic downturn is over. The central bank "will feel comfortable raising the rates as long as the situation continues to improve, as I believe it will," Mr. Siegel said.
