FDA chief investigating antibiotic use in livestock

Food and Drug Administration chief Margaret Hamburg said the agency is investigating the use of antibiotics in livestock. The possible link between antibiotic resistance and the use of growth hormones is a "foremost public health concern" in the U.S., she said.
