Survey: Americans support more food labeling

A survey of more than 1,000 U.S. adults found 86% support government implementation of front-of-pack labeling of calories, nutrients and fiber and 74% support government-sponsored nutrition education programs to distinguish between "good" and "bad" foods. Almost 60% of respondents said they support a ban on advertising "unhealthy" foods to children and adolescents, the survey found.
