Tax credit won't affect hiring, says NFIB/Michigan's Owens

"Employers don't hire people to get a tax credit. They hire people because they need people," said NFIB/Michigan's Charles Owens, in response to Congress' plan to help small businesses. A number of undecided federal initiatives along with an inability to secure loans from banks are only increasing businesses' reluctance to hire, he added.
