IPad helps Dell regain second place in PC market

The popularity of Apple's iPad helped Dell regain second place in the PC market as Acer's consumer-netbook and laptop sales in the fourth quarter were hindered by tablet-PC sales. An iSuppli survey finds Dell gaining about a 2 percentage point advantage over Acer. PC shipments set a record for the quarter with more than 93 million units shipped, a 5% increase compared with the same period in 2009.
