Benefits make green roofs appealing, landscaper says

Green roofs, along with living walls, are gaining traction in Southern California due to their environmental and aesthetic benefits, according to this interview with Jim Mumford, president and founder of Good Earth Plants. Vegetated roofs can control stormwater runoff and save energy. However, green roofs tend to cost more than living walls because their installation requires more work, Mumford said.
