ExxonMobil commences output from offshore Malaysian gas field

ExxonMobil has started production from the Telok natural gas field off the Malaysian coast. Output is expected to peak at 370 million cubic feet per day of natural gas, said Exxon, which owns a 50% stake in the field and serves as its operator. The company also seeks to drill 14 development wells from platforms at the site.
