Fatal police shooting of Calif. student leads to a lawsuit

Parents of a graduate student at California State University, San Bernardino, who was shot and killed by campus police are alleging unreasonable use of force in a lawsuit against the university, the campus police chief and the state. The plaintiffs' attorney in the federal lawsuit argues that police violated the Americans with Disabilities Act as they tried to take Bartholomew Williams, who had bipolar disorder, in for a mental evaluation.
