Thailand to install high-speed Internet in schools

Thailand has signed an agreement that will connect 27,231 schools nationwide through a Wi-Fi network as part of the government's One Tablet Per Child initiative. Next year, plans call for expanding the network to include 43,258 schools. Officials say the project will give students access to high-speed Internet using government-provided technology.
