If businesses want to encourage more women to climb the corporate ladder, they have to stop requiring their employees to work around the clock, writes Jody Greenstone Miller, CEO of Business Talent Group. "Leaders need to create a culture in which talented people are judged not by the quantity of their work, but by the quality of their contributions," she writes. Employees who do top-notch work should be eligible for advancement even if they don't spend long hours at the office, she writes.
