FDA discontinues notarization of medtech export documents

The FDA said in a notice that it has stopped notarizing medtech export certificates, effective March 1. Companies seeking authentication for nonclinical, research-use-only certificates, certificates to foreign government or certificates of exportability must now obtain notarization from the Office of Authentications at the State Department.
