Freedom, accountability are key parts of managing creativity

Giving employees a bit of freedom can go a long way toward unlocking creativity, according to Patricia Korth-McDonnell, partner and managing direct of Huge. However, Korth-McDonnell also noted that her firm keeps employees on track by asking them to explain what they've been up to. "The way to love your brother at Huge is to be tough on him. Sugar coating doesn't help someone grow into a better anything," she said.
