Hulu creates a campaign for secret-sharing app Whisper

Hulu is creating the first overt campaign on the anonymous, secret-sharing application Whisper to promote its original series "Deadbeat," about a ghost detective who helps other ghosts with unfinished business. The campaign will use the app's standard text overlay to add questions or notes on top of stills from episodes, which users can then select and write their own text or send answers. "There are a lot of people whispering about unfinished business," said Hulu content marketing chief Tom McAlister.
