Plastic surgery to remove excess skin after patients lose significant amounts of weight is worth the cost, the president of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons said in a radio interview. Patients who do not have the excess skin removed are likely to become demoralized and gain back the lost weight, making the cost of removing excess skin "a small price to pay," BAPRAS President Graeme Perks said.
