The sprawl of climate skepticism

American climate skeptics are managing to export their ideas to many other developed economies, particularly in English-speaking regions, writes Kate Galbraith. That's taking a direct toll on the countries' willingness to try out cap-and-trade systems and other methods for reining in their greenhouse emissions. "Skepticism -- or, more potently, denialism -- matters because it stalls action," Galbraith writes.
