Twitter runs trial of quick phone calls from ads

Twitter has launched a test run of a click-to-call option for its ads that makes it easier for users to phone businesses and could create a more direct link between ads on the social network and sales for advertisers. The feature uses Twitter's lead generation card, which allows advertisers to fill out the card with their phone number for such interactive features.
