No federal accounting yet for bioterrorism funds

The CDC says it has not found a way to show accountability for $5 billion appropriated for preparation against bioterrorism. The CDC was given the task when Congress responded to the 9/11 attacks by giving the funds to public health departments to improve preparations for another terrorism attack or for a flu pandemic.
