Tampax looks for some social network cheer

For its first social network campaign, Procter & Gamble's Tampax is sponsoring a 10-week "battle" of high school cheerleaders on Takkle.com, a site for high-school athletes. The promotional contest, which is also being marketed on Tampax's BeingGirl.com site, uses the Takkle social network because female athletes represent a key target audience for the P&G brand.
