Chevron expects to boost reserves 5% in three years

Chevron, like other oil majors, has struggled to replace production, but it said Tuesday it expects to increase its oil and gas reserves by about 5%, to 11.3 billion barrels of oil equivalent, by the end of 2010. Its reserves were 10.78 billion barrels at the end of 2007, down from 11.62 billion a year earlier.
