Cruise line CEO predicts agents' commissions to soar

Dan Hanrahan, president and CEO of Celebrity and Azamara, said that between now and 2012, the cruise industry will introduce three dozen new ships and the result will be roughly $300 million annually in incremental commissions paid to travel agents. Overall the panel of cruise executives at Seatrade's State of the Industry event agreed that the cruise industry, which is going global, is in a good position.
