MRS used to study molecule related to fibromyalgia

Researchers have found a potential surrogate disease-response marker for fibromyalgia patients -- the molecule glutamate. Researchers used magnetic resonance spectroscopy to look at the relationship between pain and glutamate. They found that when glutamate levels went down, pain decreased.
