Editorial: Politicians need to tone down business-jet bashing

Amid public criticism of private jets, the Wichita, Kan., City Council has gone so far as to approve a resolution recognizing the importance of business jets, and Cessna Aircraft Co. has launched a national campaign underscoring the point. But the industry will continue to battle the bad rap until President Barack Obama and lawmakers stop bashing the use of the jets, and, as one official said, President Obama should remember that he is not the only president in America who needs to fly, according to this editorial.
