Proposed small-business earmarks

The House Committee on Small Business on Wednesday proposed doubling the budget of the Small Business Administration to $1.43 billion. Among the earmarks, the proposed budget includes $65.6 million for SBA small-business development and training programs, $17.5 billion for the 7(a) program, $7.5 billion for the 504 program and $2.5 million to leverage microloans.
