Small businesses may be eliminated from card-check bill

Political insiders say Congress may exempt businesses under a certain size from the proposed card-check bill that would make it easier for unions to organize. Brad Close, vice president of federal policy at a national trade group, says the organization will fight the bill either way. "Those small businesses that employee 300 or 400 employees are huge job creators," he says, and would be most hurt by unions.
