States decide how to use stimulus money for schools

State officials already are planning how they will spend billions in federal stimulus money on education. Pennsylvania officials are recommending increased funding for special education, technology and programs in Title I schools. Fairfax, Va., officials say they will be able to reduce their request to the county's Board of Supervisors for funding, and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger plans to distribute the money to schools through competitive grants.
