U.K. to re-evaluate blood-donor ban on MSM

The U.K.'s Advisory Committee on the Safety of Blood, Tissues and Organs will conduct a study to determine whether the current policy banning blood donations from men who have sex with men should be lifted. Several organizations, including NHS Blood and Transplant, the Terrence Higgins Trust and the National AIDS Trust, have expressed their support for the review of the ban.
