Why entrepreneurs need spousal support

The loss of full-time employment just might be the thing to win over a reluctant spouse who has resisted past entrepreneurial urges, according to startup expert Tim Berry. But, he adds, the support of a spouse or partner should be considered a "make or break" factor in launching a new business. "There's no denying, like it or not, that a spouse who doesn't buy into the dream adds to the risk," he writes.
