San Diego airport gets $1 billion overhaul

Work on San Diego's Lindbergh Field airport began with the construction of an alternative parking area. Later, 10 new gates will be added at Terminal 2, a dual-level roadway to divide arriving and departing traffic will be built as will an overnight parking lot for jets. The project will cost $1 billion.
