Talks set to resume over Rhode Island teacher firings

Teachers union officials and Rhode Island's Central Falls school district Superintendent Frances Gallo have agreed to return to the bargaining table -- a sign that officials could reverse their decision to fire all teachers at the district's struggling high school. Gallo also met with teachers to discuss possible ways to turn around the school -- where only about half of the students graduate -- without firing teachers.
