Teacher has rewarding career in early-intervention program

Special-education teacher Jennifer Kruger says her 30-year career working with infants who have special needs has been "very rewarding" because of the effect she can have on the lives of children and their families. Kruger says she has seen "thousands and thousands" of children during her tenure at the Progress Center, which provides early-intervention services, neuromuscular and other therapies for children with special needs from birth to age 3.
