Ad agencies are hiring for digital expertise

Ad agencies are looking to bolster their digital credentials by hiring smart, tech-savvy new workers, according to agency talent and HR chiefs. All new hires are expected to understand digital, with social media, gaming and mobile expertise in particularly high demand. "The industry is going through more of a revolution than an evolution," said Patti Clifford, talent chief for Arnold Worldwide and Havas. "Technology and digital overlay has come fast and furiously, and that's driving a different set of skills and talents that are needed within agencies."
