Administration stages mock cyber-attack on NYC to push Senate bill

Obama administration officials recently conducted a closed-door demonstration on Capitol Hill, simulating a cyber-attack on the power grid of New York City to build support among senators for a cybersecurity bill. The administration backs a bill introduced by Sens. Susan Collins, D-Maine, and Joe Lieberman, I-Conn. A rival measure has been proposed by a group of Republicans, including Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas.
