Astronics will expand facility that produces power units for seats

A company that designs and assembles power units for aircraft seats is expanding and hiring more workers. Astronics is combining two existing shell buildings to house its engineering and manufacturing operations in Kirkland, Wash. Major clients include in-flight entertainment leaders Panasonic and Thales.
